Your First Visit

Here's what to expect during your time with us at Big Stone Therapies...

Just a couple things to know for your first visit:

  • Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled appointment with your paperwork completed.

  • Have your prescription ready! You'll need it to begin therapy.

  • We will also make a copy of your insurance card, so be sure to remember that as well. If you are covered by Workers’ Compensation, bring your claim number and your case manager’s contact information.

  • You will then be seen for your initial evaluation by one of our friendly professional therapists.

  • There are a couple of other items you will most likely discuss with your therapist:

    1. Your medical history.

    2. Any current ailments/ problems/ complaints.

    3. Pain intensity and what aggravates/ eases the problem.

    4. How this is impacting daily activities and overall functionality.

    5. Medications, tests, and procedures related to your health.

    6. And of course, all your therapy goals!

We can't wait to help you soon!

"I needed physical therapy for back pain. I chose services at BST and I'm so glad I did. Professional, knowledgeable, and competent are words to describe the help I had. I was grateful for the positive results!"
