Wade Fligge, PT, DPT

Wade Fligge has been part of the Big Stone Therapies family since 2012, and he’s served as a managing partner at the Watertown clinic since 2015. He’s a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist with additional training in dry needling and concussion management, and he has a special passion for treating athletes and helping patients return to the activities they love.

Wade’s path to physical therapy started on the wrestling mat in high school. As an individual-sport athlete, he learned firsthand that understanding his body and pushing himself physically translated directly into performance, and that curiosity about health and fitness never left him.

Ask Wade about his approach to care and he’ll tell you it starts with a patient’s “why.” Whether someone wants to get back on the soccer pitch pain-free, return to work to support their family, or simply get up and down off the floor to play with their grandchildren, Wade believes tapping into that motivation is what drives real progress, and he builds his care around it.

Outside the clinic, Wade lives in Watertown, South Dakota, and stays active with running, biking, golf, coaching soccer and time on the water with his family.

Fun fact: Wade grew up on a small ranch and competed in rodeo through high school.
